They Walk Among Us……..Or Do They?

Imagine it's a typical day in a typical year (if anything can be typical nowadays) and you're going about your daily routine when you meet someone who seems a little bit different; a little bit off to you.
You strike up a conversation with this person and during the conversation they tell you that they are an extraterrestrial experiencing life here on planet Earth.
Now this is probably an example that is not likely to happen to you, but it does bring up an important question......... do extraterrestrial beings live and walk among us? It’s not that much of a stretch for those who believe in E.T. life, BUT then again, it brings up another question… WHY would they want to live on planet Earth?
I thought it would be interesting to check in with some colleagues and get their thoughts.Here are a few excerpts from what they told me:
Nick Pope – “In a universe nearly 14 billion years old, there might be civilizations out there with a billion years head start on us. To such civilizations, finding ways to walk among us, unobserved, would be child’s play.”
Rich Berra – “I am not sure if I feel I’ve seen substantial evidence to make me believe that Aliens walk among us.”
Captain Ron – “Although never say never, I find it a bridge too far to think they are actually walking among us.”
Dr. Sky – “The notion of aliens living covertly on Earth remains in the realm of speculation and science fiction.”
Steve Bassett – “There is ample evidence for direct contact with humans. But do these non-human beings mingle and pass as human in everyday life on Earth? The evidence for that is not robust.”
Don Schmitt – “Not such a far-fetched idea beginning with the very acceptance that we are being visited and more likely studied by an intelligence from off the planet. If we accept the egg, we have to accept the chicken.”
Richard Syrett – “They have always been here—not as travelers from distant stars, but as interdimensional beings, slipping between the cracks of reality.”
Well, there you go! So, the next time you start thinking about extraterrestrial life (and for some of us that is a lot of the time), just remember that the person that bags your groceries, or changes the oil in your car, or even runs your child’s daycare … could possibly be an Alien walking among us!
