Everybody in our community is getting ramped up about what President Donald Trump may release in regard to UFO information. Republican Eric Burlison of Missouri says President Trump will give people what they want and following Trump's declassification of JFK, RFK, and MLK assassination files, Burlison said he has reached out to the administration about releasing UFO files. Are we getting excited for nothing? Will this just be another release of information that really doesn't matter or doesn't tell us anything new?
It's no secret the government is hiding things from us, and we all hope for full disclosure one day, but do they just keep stringing us along by saying they're going to release new information, and then they don't? I guess the question will be answered in a relatively short amount of time. The last thing we need is for a bunch of non-pertinent information to be released and for us to get nothing but a big letdown.
There were those who thought that Hillary Clinton would be the disclosure president but that didn't happen, so I wonder to myself if President Trump will be the actual disclosure president? There are so many good people in this community and so many great Ufologists that are working hard to bring the truth to light. I myself am cautiously optimistic but stay cognizant of the track record the US government has, to date, when it comes to UFO disclosure.
I mentioned that I am cautiously optimistic, but I think my thoughts are closest to what I was told by my friend and colleague George Knapp when he wrote, “I would very much like to be proven wrong, but it looks like Lucy is getting ready to yank that football away from Charlie Brown one more time.” I discussed this with former British Ministry of Defense employee Nick Pope, and he said to me “a UAP-specific executive order would be helpful and may prove to be necessary. Either way, there are potentially some very exciting times ahead." I think about my late friend Stanton Friedman and what he would be telling me in our conversations about what's going on nowadays; I guess I'll never know until I meet him again in the afterlife.
Well one thing's for sure, these are very exciting times in the world of UFOlogy! We look forward to seeing what may come from -- and be released by -- our government in the coming days ahead.
