What The Heck Is Happening In Our Sky Lately?

Beverly Hills, CA, July 2025 – A series of very recent news reports has gotten me a bit disturbed. Just what the heck has been going on in the skies above the United States during the past few weeks?
On June 26, 2025, countless residents scattered across the American Southeast, including Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina, and Florida, witnessed a "fiery ball" falling from the sky. The first reports came in stating that several people said it appeared to be falling debris, like a meteor or asteroid, streaking across the sky.
WCNC TV Charlotte, North Carolina’s newsroom, received multiple calls about the fireball since it was first spotted around 12:30 pm that day. Multiple users on Reddit reported seeing it on Interstate 485 – and it was also reported in Atlanta, Greenville, and Charleston.
The National Weather Service in Charleston reported that a streak was seen over the North Carolina-Virginia border between 12:51 p.m. and 12:56 p.m. on June 26. A streak was also seen within the cloud-free sky near Gasbury, Virginia.
Weather Impact Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich said seeing something this clearly in the daytime is quite rare. "I'm curious if this was not some kind of piece of space debris, a rocket body, maybe a degrading satellite or some other piece of space junk," Panovich said on Live Impact News. "It's rare for something to be that bright in the middle of the day. If it was a meteor, it would have to have been a really large meteor to be that bright in the middle of the day."
The object was officially described as a “bolide” - a large and rare fireball that often creates a sonic boom. CLICK HERE
On June 28, Astronomers studying a distant galaxy cluster stumbled upon ancient radio signals that might hold clues to the formation of the early universe. While studying the distant galaxy cluster known as SpARCS1049, astronomers detected faint mysterious radio waves, according to a study published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters and available on the pre-print server Xrxiv.
These recently discovered radio waves, which would have taken 10 billion years to reach Earth, originated from a vast region of space filled with high-energy particles and magnetic fields. These vast clouds of high-energy particles are known as a mini-halo – something that has never been detected this deep into space before, according to the study.
Roland Timmerman of the Institute for Computational Cosmology of Durham University and co-author of the study, said in a statement in Phys.org how these particles are important for the creation of our universe: "It's astonishing to find such a strong radio signal at this distance," Timmerman said. "It means these energetic particles and the processes creating them have been shaping galaxy clusters for nearly the entire history of the universe." CLICK HERE
On June 27, the Los Angeles Times reported a story about NASA: “Look up in the sky! No, really, look! Are those planes supposed to be that low? But don’t worry, says NASA, because the aircraft you are seeing are conducting research and studying atmospheric data. The planes will take flight over Southern California starting Sunday through Wednesday. The low-altitude atmospheric flights will be soaring between 1,000 and 10,000 feet, NASA announced in a news release. For comparison, most commercial flights reach between 31,000 to 42,000 feet.
From the ground, the research will look peculiar as the pilots perform vertical spirals, circling over power plants, landfills and urban areas. NASA did not provide any specifics about the flight path, announcing that the aircraft will buzz over the Los Angeles Basin, Salton Sea and Central Valley. The flights are part of NASA’s Student Airborne Research Program, or SARP, and will involve two aircraft. The P-3 Orion aircraft (N426NA) and a King Air B200 aircraft (N46L) will make their way across Southern California, but not in the same flight pattern. The P-3 is a modified four-engine turboprop plane used in various research projects, designed for endurance and range, according to NASA. CLICK HERE
Also on June 27, a Massachusetts woman relaxing in her outdoor hot tub captured video of a mysterious object floating in the sky. Colleen McCormack said she was in the hot tub outside her Pembroke home about 9 p.m. Wednesday when she spotted the object. "I was chilling in my hot tub, I look up in the sky to see something tiny, floating. I'm like, 'What is that?'" she told WHDH-TV. McCormack got her phone out and recorded video of the unusual scene.
“It looked like it was on fire or something and it was just coming down really fast," McCormack told WFXT-TV. I have no idea what it could have been."
The Federal Aviation Administration said there were no reports of debris in the area. Officials declined to comment on the woman’s video.
"My heart was pounding because I just looked up," McCormack said. "I'm like oh God what is about to happen right now?" The witness said she expected to her a loud sound when the object hit the earth, but there was no noise after it disappeared from view. "It was really quiet. You couldn't like really hear anything. That's why I was just like more confused. When stuff flies over all the time, you hear it," she said. CLICK HERE
So, is it my imagination or are MANY MORE ODD EVENTS THAN NORMAL going on up there in the wild blue yonder of late?
Maybe the arrival of the brand NEW SUPERMAN – coming July 11 – will help clear up the mysteries in the skies and explain all of this recent weirdness to us?
God knows, we really could use an ACTUAL SUPERMAN right about now.
