Dr. Lynne Kitei Keeps “The Phoenix Lights” Event Alive And Well Across Multiple Media Platforms
Phoenix, AZ, JULY 2025 -- The famous 1997 Phoenix Lights UFO Case has long been hailed worldwide as the most witnessed, most documented, and most important mass anomalous aerial sighting in modern history. Dr. Lynne Kitei was a key eyewitness. She is the author of the book The Phoenix Lights... A Skeptic's Discovery That We Are Not Alone; director and producer of two related documentaries; and the CEO of The Phoenix Lights Network.
In March of this year, Dr. Kitei presented her annual Phoenix Lights Anniversary Event at the Arizona Heritage Center Amphitheater. The event, which was sold out, included talks by Dr. Kitei as well as by iconic UFO Abductee Travis Walton and Navajo Ranger Jonathan Dover. (SEEN IN PHOTO)
Said Dr. Kitei, “Our annual events are always SOLD OUT every March, ever since our award-winning Phoenix Lights Documentary premiered in 2005. We had over 300 Phoenix Lights fans filling the AZ Heritage Center's beautiful amphitheater.”
In May, noted broadcast journalist Ross Coulthart sat down with Dr. Kitei on his NewsNation TV show Reality Check, to discuss the night of The Phoenix Lights. The two talked about what Dr. Kitei saw beforehand, and what she’s learned in the decades since.

In June, Dr. Kitei was honored to be invited to speak at the 2025 GETS (Governance of Emerging Technologies and Science) Conference at the Arizona State University Law School’s main amphitheater. There, she appeared on a panel entitled The Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Controversy, alongside Harvard's Dr. Avi Loeb and Alexandro Rojas of Enigma Labs.
And on July 1, 2025, Dr. Kitei presented a talk entitled “The Phoenix Lights: The Inside Story” at the Chandler Museum in Chandler, Arizona. The lecture was presented to a full house of 70 people.
Said Dr. Kitei, “The packed audience at the Chandler Museum on July 1st were very enthusiastic and appreciative to learn the ‘Inside Phoenix Lights story,’ much like the audiences we draw every year during our Phoenix Lights Anniversary Events.”
In addition, Dr. Kitei was also interviewed very recently by a Canadian Film Company for their Phoenix Lights Documentary, and by producers of a hit Japanese TV Show called Excessive Urban Legend. (SEEN IN PHOTO)
