Updates From The New Paradigm Institute
Washington, D.C., JULY -- For months now, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has been leading the effort in Congress, through her chairpersonship of the U.S. House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, to organize and convene a public hearing on the UFOs or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
There has, however, been a new development worth reporting to you. In a recent interview on the UAP Unidentified Alien Podcast, Congressman Eric Burlison (R-MO), a key member of Luna’s Taskforce on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, said that two hearings are currently in the planning stage. He suggested these hearings may include testimony from people with hands-on experience with retrieved UFO spacecraft. More news soon, we hope. Please be assured that your voice is helping to shape this historic moment.
Five Quick Phone Calls You Can Make TODAY to Pass the UAP Disclosure Act
Thank you to everyone who has already participated in our ongoing campaign to support the UAP Disclosure Act (UAPDA). Your action matters, and now is the time to double down!
My sources inside Washington say the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is moving quickly this year. The Senate is expected to file the NDAA this week, and when that happens, amendments like the UAPDA will be introduced. This means the next ten days are critical.
To meet this moment, we have launched a rapid-response tool that enables you to make five targeted phone calls to key lawmakers in under ten minutes. These calls can help decide whether the UAPDA becomes law.

Top congressional leaders hold the keys to advancing UFO/UAP transparency. Call House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and ask them to support the UAP Disclosure Act.
Call #2: Senators Roger Wicker and Jack Reed
The Senate Armed Services Committee decides which amendments make it into the NDAA. Call Chairman Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Ranking Member Jack Reed (D-RI) and ask them to include the UAP Disclosure Act amendment in the NDAA.
Call #3: Senators Chuck Schumer and Mike Rounds
Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Mike Rounds (R-SD) champion UFO/UAP transparency. Call today to thank them for their leadership and encourage them to keep fighting for the UAP Disclosure Act.
Call #4: Senate Intelligence and Oversight Committee Chairs
Senate committee leaders hold key oversight on UFO/UAP disclosure. Call today to urge them to support including the UAP Disclosure Act amendment in the NDAA.
Call #5: Rep. Virginia Foxx
The House Rules Committee controls which NDAA amendments get a vote. Tell Rule Committee Chairwoman Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) to include the UAP Disclosure Act and let Congress decide.
Together, we will bring transparency to a topic hidden for too long. Let’s raise the pressure now.
Congressional Oversight UAP Public Hearing Delayed Again
As many of you know, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has been a vocal advocate for holding another public congressional hearing on UFOs/UAP. Earlier this year, she indicated that the hearing would take place sometime in July. However, that timeline has now changed once again.
According to new reporting by researcher Douglas Dean Johnson, a congressional aide from the House Oversight Committee has confirmed that the hearing will likely be delayed until September. This is consistent with a separate update from NewsNation correspondent Joe Khalil, who reports that Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) has stated the hearing is now scheduled for September 1.
While it’s frustrating to see these timelines continue to shift, this is unfortunately par for the course in Washington. Scheduling in Congress is often fluid, especially when competing priorities and political negotiations come into play.
Rest assured, the New Paradigm Institute will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you informed.
We’re thrilled to spotlight the growing impact of our Citizens for Disclosure volunteer network. Recently, two of our dedicated state teams brought NPI’s message to their local communities, and the results were inspiring.
Citizens for Disclosure Illinois State Lead Taylor Steele represented NPI at the Illinois Paranormal Conference in Rockford. Taylor set up a display table, engaged attendees in meaningful conversations, and collected signatures for our latest call to action. His commitment to outreach is helping build momentum in the Midwest and beyond. Thank you, Taylor!
In Ohio, Citizens for Disclosure State Leads Mike and Stephanie Grable brought our message to the Pride Festival in Lebanon. They distributed NPI bookmarks and business cards; their enthusiasm and grassroots energy exemplify the spirit of this movement. We’re deeply grateful for their efforts.
This is our moment, and your voice is critical to our mission. Public pressure over the next two weeks will determine whether the UAPDA moves forward in the legislative process or gets buried again. At the New Paradigm Institute, we are calling on all supporters of responsible disclosure to take immediate action.
Visit our website and use our simple tool to send a pre-written letter to your representatives. Then forward the link to your friends and family and encourage them to do the same. If we cannot deliver thousands of letters before this window closes, the UAP Disclosure Act may once again be left out of law.
Moments like these, when everyday citizens take bold steps to inform and activate their communities, strengthen the movement for disclosure.
