UFO-TRACK Offer New Approach to Citizen-Led Disclosure

Denver, CO, Feb 16, 2026 -- UFO-TRACK, a new, citizen-science initiative, is shaking up the way Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) are being detected, moving the field from after-the-fact reporting to proactive, real-time notifications.

Founded by seasoned UFO Field Investigator and Author John Clark Craig, UFO-TRACK has developed a real-time, rapid-response UFO alert service which incorporates specialized sensor technology and citizen-reports. UFO-Track’s intent is to create verified, multi-witness, multi-camera events - as they happen, instead of just collecting easily-dismissed, solitary UFO sightings. For decades, by the time investigators received a UFO report, the event was over, and witness memories had already begun to degrade. UFO-Track addresses these issues by acting as a "First Responder" for anomalous events.

“Delay is the enemy of disclosure,” says Craig. “We want to stop merely archiving UFO history and start capturing more real-time data - while the event is still happening. With UFO-Track’s technology and human network, we can do precisely that!”

The core of the UFO-Track membership service is its real-time alert system. When an event is reported or detected, a text message alert is instantly sent out to nearby UFO-Track members. These members have signed up to be alerted that something anomalous has been seen or detected within 50 miles of their recorded location. This rapid response capability allows multiple witnesses to document the same object or event from different locations simultaneously.

This “network effect” enables:

  • Immediate Corroboration: Turning a single, easily dismissed story into a multi-witness, data-rich event.

  • Data Integrity: Capturing video and photos before memory distortion occurs.

  • Triangulation: Utilizing data from multiple cameras allows 3D analysis of size, distance, altitude, and velocity.

The UFO-Sense device detects magnetic and gravitic anomalies. These detections, along with the public reports (report.UFO-Track.com), populate a real-time map of the events. These maps (sightings.UFO-Track.com) are the backbone for UFO-Track.

The UFO-Sense device is a consumer electronics device developed by Craig which monitors the environment for anomalous signatures often associated with close-proximity UAP sightings. Upon detecting a shift, the device notifies its owner via text (so they don’t actually have to be in the proximity of the device), and simultaneously, it notifies network members within a 50-mile radius.

The members receiving the alerts will be told the direction and shape of the object, so they know where to look and what to look for when they look up! These observers can also report via report.UFO-Track.com what they see after receiving the alert and continue to report the direction it is moving. This allows more members to be alerted and a real-time trajectory of the anomaly to be established.

The UFO-Sense devices already in the field have detected both magnetic and gravitic disturbances and correlated data has been documented. To date, roughly 30% of the UFO-Sense devices have alerted and of those alerts about 15% of those reports have had accompanying data to collect and study.

The manual reporting system at report.UFO-Track.com was designed to be a quick report - just shape, direction and a quick note. It should only take a few seconds to enter. The report also triggers an email to the witness to gather more in-depth data later. This email will give the witness a place to share video and photos that are then uploaded to the sightings.UFO-Track.com map.

“So, as quickly as the system gathers data, it shares it with its members,” Craig explains. “Think of UFO-Track as the Emergency Response System providing data to the existing UFO investigation organizations. Our job is immediate detection and data capture using the smart phones already in everyone’s pockets. We want to hand UFO investigators meaningful data containing not just a story, but photos, triangulated calculations and verified sensor readings so they can do a more thorough investigation.”

UFO-Track’s network is now open to the public, leading the way for citizen-led disclosure - or proving the UFOs are real and flying in our skies right now. Membership is available for $5/month, a nominal monthly fee to support server and development costs.

“The era of the solitary witness is over,” says Craig. “The era of the networked witnesses and investigators has begun. We don’t have to wait for permission to find the truth; we can build the net and catch the data together.”
