The Southern California Chapter Of MUFON Promotes Gene Meregillano To State Director and C.J. Arabia To Chief Investigator
Los Angeles, CA, May 2025 – The Southern California Chapter of MUFON has announced the promotion of Gene Meregillano to the position of State Director of Southern California MUFON.
Gene had previously served as the Chief Investigator for that MUFON Chapter, under former So. Cal. Chapter State Director Earl Grey Anderson, who passed away on April 27. Gene has taken the reins for the Southern California region and will be overseeing the recruitment of new members and investigators; holding public meetings, and managing the day to day duties of the State Director. Gene is also an accomplished musician and teaches at the School of Rock.
Linda Fletcher will remain in her position as Assistant State Director of Southern California MUFON.
State Section Director Mike Riso will also remain in his position and will assist Gene and Linda in the management of Southern California MUFON, following Earl Grey Anderson’s passing. Mike is also the co-host of the Universal Disclosure Podcast found on YouTube
C.J. Arabia has been promoted to Chief Investigator for Southern California MUFON in the wake of Meregillano’s promotion to State Director. She is also a member of MUFON’s Experiencer Resource Team and will take over as Southern California ERT Case Manager. With years of experience as a website editor, C.J. will also serve as Chief Editor for the Southern California Chapter of MUFON, and will also be the Director of the group’s social media accounts.
