Emergency Action: “Now Do UFOs” Says Senator Chuck Schumer
Washington, D.C., September 2025 -- Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) just forced a vote to unseal the Epstein files. He didn’t win that vote (just barely), but his action shows that last-minute amendments can be introduced and voted upon. Now, it’s time for him and other UAP transparency advocated in the Senate to stick to their guns and bring the UAP Disclosure Act amendment (UAPDA) to the Senate floor as part of the FY 2026 National Defense Authorization Act.
WHY THIS MATTERS
A floor vote will put every senator on record about transparency on UFO/UAP evidence and non-human intelligence.
Public scrutiny worked yesterday to force a floor vote—it can work again now.
YOUR TWO-STEP ACTION (UNDER 5 MINUTES)
Call Sen. Schumer’s office and urge him to force a vote on the UAPDA as a late amendment to the NDAA.
Email his team with the same message below. You can also use the sample script below my signature at the bottom of this email.
“Leader Schumer, thank you for championing UFO/UAP transparency. Please force a vote on the UAP Disclosure Act—America deserves the truth and to know where every Senator stands on UAP transparency.”
KEY POINTS TO INCLUDE:
Commend his leadership on the Epstein transparency vote effort.
Highlight widespread public support for full, responsible UAP disclosure.
Emphasize the amendment’s urgency before NDAA negotiations close (which will happen any day now!!).

The New Yorker Asks: “What’s the Deal With UFOs?”
In another major development, The New Yorker published a long-form article last week titled “What’s the Deal With UFOs?” The piece is well-researched and largely balanced, with thoughtful coverage of voices familiar to our community, including Dr. Garry Nolan, Avi Loeb, Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO), and others. I was impressed that the article raised critical concerns about the shortcomings of AARO's analysis of the Go Fast UFO/UAP video, in sharp contrast to the Wall Street Journal’s recent article, which cast AARO’s analyses in a favorable light.
However, the New Yorker piece left out a crucial element of the UFO/UAP story: whistleblowers. Figures such as David Grusch and Lue Elizondo were not mentioned, despite the central role whistleblowers have played in bringing this issue to public attention. From exposing the possibility of crash retrieval programs, to raising alarms about breaches of national security, to shedding light on deeply compartmentalized special access programs within the U.S. military, whistleblowers have been indispensable in advancing public understanding of the UFO/UAP phenomenon.
As whistleblower Dylan Borland recently testified, coming forward often results in the loss of security clearances, unemployability, and severe personal consequences.
Having failed to acknowledge these realities, the article’s conclusions feel incomplete. Still, the fact that a publication with the reach and reputation of The New Yorker is treating UFO/UAP seriously is an encouraging sign of how far the conversation has moved into the mainstream.
We encourage you to read the article in full and come to your own conclusions.
Together, we create the future!
