Reflections on the Paranormal: What I’ve Learned from My Years as a Documentary Filmmaker

Just a few months ago, I completed my 20th documentary production. It’s called “The Psychic Phenomenon,” and it’s been generating a great deal of interest about my career and my experiences since its debut on Amazon in August.
For much of my life, I’ve been thinking about and studying a number of different inexplicable phenomena. I began my career as an independent documentary filmmaker making films in the UAP/UFO/ET/NHI genre back in 2012. I’ve loved taking this journey –I’ve met so many remarkable people and had the opportunity to hear about their adventures, listen to their diffrent stories and experiences regarding UFOs and interactions with non-human intelligences that have long been communicating with our planet. I’m fascinated by all this stuff. I’ve covered a whole gamut of stories within this arena during my research and production of 18 documentary films and two docu-TV series. My topics have included alleged, underground military bases that have long existed for UFO research; questions on what does NASA really know; the USO phenomenon; Sasquatch; UAPs in Puerto Rico, and others. I’ve also done a great deal of research into the abduction phenomenon, which was shocking in the days of Betty and Barney Hill and Travis Walton, but which has slowly become more and more normalized within the modern UFO community.
I don’t believe everyone who comes along with their paranormal and remarkable stories, however. I remain skeptical of some. I know there are some untruths out there, some people will make things up just for the attention. But with the abduction phenom, there have been so many highly credible cases. My “Pascagula ‘73” docu-series presented an in-depth look at the bizarre encounters of Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker. With many of these well-documented cases, you hear about how the Air Force got involved, how oolice detectives investigated, and how trace evidence was often left behind on the ground or through odd markings on the bodies of the abductees.
Personally, I believe that UAPs could be non-human crafts piloted by extraterrestrial, or extra dimensional beings. The crypto-terrestrial theory says that these “beings” are something that have been on the Earth for ages, existing within a domain we can’t usually reach. This theory explains how so many hundreds of strange craft have been seen flying into and coming out from the world’s oceans by so many Navy crewman and sailors, including Christopher Columbus! They may have even been circling our solar system longer than mankind’s been on Earth. The old theory is that all ETs came from other planets or star systems. The crypto-terrestrial theory poses the question: What if they were already here? The point is that we must continue our research into these possibilities.
Evidence is always the hardest thing to get when someone like me is researching this subject. I think a highly disturbing fact is that the U.S. Air Force has, since the 1940’s, always told us ‘there’s nothing to see here,’ even when confronted with documented proof of recovered evidence. The fact is that this phenomenon persists consistently. Clearly, a giant lie has been – and continues to be - told to the public by the Air Force, the Navy and the overall U.S. Military when they tell us they have never recovered any credible evidence. I find it unfortunate that so many mainstream scientists and members of the media remain incredibly closed-minded to these non-traditional explanations. The existence of UFOs and beings from elsewhere just seem to be rumors and myths to them. Based on the tens of thousands of reports from around the world just since World War II alone, there has to be something VERY DIFFERENT about these otherworldly crafts and their occupants.
Could these beings possibly even be us from the future? That is one of the working theories these days.
My newest film, “The Psychic Phenomenon,” dives into the intersection between UAPs and psychic abilities. In it, I present an in depth look into the remarkable idea behind remote viewing, with interviews from such icons in the field as Russell Targ, Paul H. Smith, Tracey Dolan, and others. Remote viewers have reported seeing anomalous beings and non-human intelligences on the Moon, Mars, Jupitar, and at other sites. Russell Targ told me that the CIA had long incorporated the gifts of incredibly talented, psychic people who had powerful remote viewing abilities. Paul H. Smith teaches a school of remote viewing, and says in my film that some of his clients come to him from the military – they seek his help to remote view important targets around the world. And Tracey Dolan calls the human brain, “a room temperature quantum computer.” Obviously, these top remote viewers have an extraordinary gift.
There has long been documented a powerful psychic connection between experiencers and the occupants of UAPs and UFOs. Images, thoughts and words are often reported to be telepathically delivered into the minds of the experiencer/observers on the ground. I think that telepathy and this connection to NHI exists, 100%. I believe that perhaps everyone is born with an instinctual gift by which to tap into their psychic abilities, but obviously only a select few are highly psychic. The U.S. intelligence agencies quite often recruit these people for top secret, remote viewing programs.
Those who are highly psychic are people with “different brains” – apparently their left occipital lobes fire off with a great deal more activity than the average brain, resulting in their psychic gifts. Russell Targ says in my film that very high intelligence often will correlate to people with a high degree of psychic remote viewing. There’s a deep history of psychic research and phenomena that have been going on throughout history, and these studies don’t only stop with humans. There have been proven tests that some pets, like dogs, will psychically knew when their owners would be coming home
Within the UAP/UFO phenomenon, there is quite often a psychic component to the experience. Because there are so many stories about telepathy, we hear about demonstrated voice-to-brain communications between ETs and humans. And we hear about remote viewers being able to connect both visually and verbally with NHI.
I think that perhaps telepathy through psychic abilities might be the universal language. I hope someday it becomes mainstream. It would be powerful if we, as a species, were able to better study and develop our own psychic gifts in the future. I think there could be evidence of ETs being psychic. From testimonies about the world, people will often see a craft and send out a thought and get a visual response in return. There are even cases where experiencers have had thoughts beamed into their heads - Betty and Barney Hill reported on this. If humans have the ability to psychically connect with one another, or to remote view, why couldn’t a non-human intelligence with a brain also have that ability? I believe we may be able to look into other dimensions through technology in the near future. Perhaps there we could discover entities existing within spectrums that we can’t see today with human eyes.
Recently, a number of podcasters have been asking me: “What do I think the ET’s agenda is?” Based on witness encounters, I’m not even sure if all of these stories are really about extraterrestrial creatures. Michael Key Masters believes they might be us from the future! Perhaps they are humans who have been heavily modified through science and evolution.

Finally, so many people keep asking me, “Darcy! When will there finally be Capital “D” Disclosure? And is that going to take place in our lifetimes?”
In my opinion, Disclosure has already happened, to a pretty high degree. But it’s not yet been accepted by everybody. It’s a painstaking process to peel back the layers of 80-years of secrecy to get to the truth of what is really behind the NHI phenomenon. It is possible we might get more truth out of the U.S. Congress from their ongoing hearings. But I worry that those hearings might just be a manipulation process to eventually use that truth against society so that the government and the military can continue to control people better.
I think the modern age of Capital “D” Disclosure started in 2017 with the release of those three UAP Navy videos by Lue Elizondo and the front-page NY Times story about the U.S. Military’s ongoing investigation of UAPs by Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal. Clearly, Disclosure is a highly collaborative effort. My documentary films and docu-TV series are me doing my part. The more high-ranking officials that come forward from the military, the government, and the U.S. intelligence agencies will obviously contribute to the forward momentum of the Disclosure effort. But I think the most impactful evidence has long been coming from the experiencers, the contactees and the abductees. So many people continue coming forward now, and, collectively, each of us represents one piece of this gigantic puzzle.
Disclosure is a hugely collaborative effort. So, until there’s official presidential Disclosure by a U.S. President, a King, a Prime Minister or the Pope, saying, “People of Earth, We Are Not Alone!,” those of us committed to this field of exposing the truth must continue our efforts.
To those who simply don’t believe in the reality of UAPs and NHI, my advice is for them to try to sus out the best truth for themselves and find the best facts. If you don’t believe, chances are strong you haven’t studied this topic yet at all. Read some books. Watch some documentaries. Attend some UAP conferences. Do some hard core research. If you want to be part of the global Disclosure conversation and try to understand what’s really going on, you must put in some real effort.
