Updates From The New Paradigm Institute: Vallee Speaks Out; Mace Wants Rubio to Testify

JACQUES VALEE ON WEAPONIZED
Jacques Vallée (pictured above) remains one of the most thoughtful and respected voices in the UFO/UAP research community. In his recent appearance on the Weaponized podcast with Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, Vallée offered insights that deserve close attention.
One point stood out in particular. Vallée noted that recent congressional hearings have relied almost exclusively on military and government witnesses, leaving out civilian experiencers altogether. The result, he argues, is that only one side of the story has been presented, namely, one filtered through a national security lens; this, in turn, has reinforced fear-based narratives rather than encouraging a fuller understanding of the phenomenon.
Vallée also raised a cautionary flag about government-sourced UFO data. He warned that some leaked information may be deliberately “salted” with keywords or inaccuracies, allowing intelligence agencies to track how narratives spread. For this reason, he urges researchers to be wary of relying on such material and instead focus on building clean data sets with clear chains of custody. Science, Vallée reminded listeners, ultimately rests on trust, and compromised data undermines serious inquiry.
As someone who has helped shape the field for decades, Vallée’s perspective is both sobering and clarifying. I highly recommend watching this interview.
AGE OF DISCLOSURE REACHES CAPITOL HILL
In a development that may have slipped by during the holiday break, journalist Matt Laslo of AskAPoll spoke with Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO) and Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC), about the documentary Age of Disclosure. Both members of Congress expressed strong interest in the film, with Representative Mace going further by calling for Secretary of State Marco Rubio to testify publicly about what he knows regarding UFOs/UAP.
As many will recall, Rubio made notable comments in The Age of Disclosure, and some have suggested he later walked them back. That claim that Rubio backtracked does not hold up. In a recent interview with Sean Hannity, Rubio addressed the issue directly, stating that he was not disavowing his remarks during the interview he conducted several years earlier while he was still in the Senate. He clarified that he was relaying what others had told him rather than firsthand knowledge, while acknowledging that some selective editing had taken place.
Regardless, the renewed attention from sitting members of Congress underscores the growing impact of The Age of Disclosure in Washington. In my view, Secretary Rubio would be a credible and valuable witness at a future congressional hearing as the push for transparency continues to gain momentum.
DISCLOSURE SETS SAIL THIS JANUARY
As mentioned in previous newsletters, later this month the New Paradigm Institute is bringing the conversation on UFO/UAP disclosure into a dynamic new setting that blends culture, community, and civic engagement. From January 18 through January 22, 2026, members of the NPI leadership team will be on board The Friendship, a four-night electronic music cruise sailing from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas) and back to Miami.
