This Week’s WOW! Signal Is Dedicated To Earl Grey Anderson

Those of us in the worlds of UAP/UFO/ET Research lost a Giant of UFOlogy on April 27, with the passing of our beloved colleague Earl Grey Anderson at just 66. Earl was MUFON’s State Director of Southern California, a lifelong experiencer, a sought-after media expert, and a renowned UAP researcher.

Earl had the biggest heart in the world and was loyal and loving to his core. Our Southern California UFO Community mourns his loss deeply. He was a leader and a colleague – an important voice on this topic.

But most importantly to countless dozens of us in Southern California and across the USA, he was a friend.

A TRUE friend. And TRUE FRIENDS are hard to come by.

Last June (2024), I had the joy of interviewing Earl on my podcast, LIVE FROM HOLLYWOOD...IT'S PARANORMAL TONIGHT!  His stories were quite simply fascinating, especially him talking about how his mother told him Space Aliens were real when he was just five years old!

Earl was also a gifted Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist! After his passing, my friend CJ Arabia sent me one of Earl’s songs. It’s called “Ioway” - a term used ages ago by Native American Indians for Iowa, the hometown state of Earl's mom.

The song was Earl's tribute to his late, beloved mother, Betty, who grew up in Muscatine, Iowa; his Grandfather "Poppa" Earl (a broommaker!); and his Uncle Albe, a mandolin player.

I challenge anyone who knew and loved Earl, as I did, not to cry while listening to this song. I have, in fact - cried every single time I’ve heard this song during this past week – many, many times.

I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. Really…

And on May 1, I was honored to be one of the folks who were included in a special Earl Grey Anderson Tribute episode of KGRA's podcast, UAP CROSSFIRE. My HDA colleagues Paul Hynek, Kathleen Marden, Sev Tok and Katie Paige all shared their loving memories of our late friend during that program.

One last piece of Earl News: On June 2, 10am, at Contact in the Desert, I will be presenting the world premiere of a new documentary film produced by The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, entitled

Inside Hollywood: Aliens, UFOs and the Quest for Disclosure.  That film, which will be dedicated to Earl, includes his LAST EVER on-camera interview, which was recorded March 2.

Rest in Peace Earl. You were my Brother. We miss you and we love you. You enriched our lives beyond measure. I hope you are able to reunite with your dear mother in Heaven.
