Albuquerque, New Mexico:Missing Air Force General
Authorities in New Mexico are conducting an extensive search for a retired U.S. Air Force general who disappeared from his home weeks ago. Retired Maj. Gen. William "Neil" McCasland, 68, was last seen on the morning of Feb. 27 at his residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. His wife reported him missing later that day after returning home from a medical appointment to find he was gone, leaving behind his phone, glasses, and other personal items. McCasland is a former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson whose career placed him at the center of some of the Pentagon's most advanced aerospace research. The US Air Force has repeatedly denied any extraterrestrial technology or "alien bodies" were ever in its possession. But Donald Schmitt, the lead investigator at the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, says he believes the government is not telling the truth. "We are presently up to 30 deathbed confessions, all admissible in a court of law, attesting that it did happen. I can't say that about 99.9% of the other UFO cases, because they're very fleeting. It's a sighting, it's a photograph, it's a video. Now you see it. Washington, D.C.: Sean Kirkpatrick Says Trump’s UFO Order is a Distraction
"You're going to have a bunch of people who are going to continue to cry conspiracy, they're going to say there's a cover-up," Sean Kirkpatrick said. He views Mr. Trump's order to release UFO Files as a "distraction for the administration." Kirkpatrick, a physicist who led AARO from July 2022 to Dec. 1, 2023, was tasked with investigating unidentified flying objects and other unidentified aerial or anomalous phenomena. What he found ranged from "hazing" in the Air Force to what he called "deceptions" designed to hide secret defense programs.Kirkpatrick said his office "had to stand up to anything they could declassify," but proof of extraterrestrial life wasn't there.
