The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance Announces Winners Of First Annual HDA Awards for Excellence:
Stephen Bassett Receives J. Allen Hynek Lifetime Achievement Award
Beverly Hills, CA, Feb 23, 2026 – The non-profit organization The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance (HDA) has announced the Winners of its First Annual HDA Awards for Excellence.
The HDA is the world’s only organization to network together UAP researchers, experiencers and Disclosure advocates with entertainment industry content creators and producers. The goal of the group is to help nurture, develop and produce the next era of motion pictures, TV shows and documentaries based on the real-life UAP/UFO experiences of real-life people.
The HDA awards were voted upon by the organization’s 250 members located around the world. The honors recognize excellence in various categories during the time frame of 2016 – 2026.
“The Winners of our first-ever HDA awards represent a truly stellar cross-section of people, projects and media outlets working to help advance Capital ‘D’ Disclosure through the media, activism, science and the arts,” said HDA Chairman Dan Harary. “Collectively, the HDA is dedicated to helping to advance the end of the 80-year long truth embargo which the U.S. Government and Military continue to perpetuate for reasons unknown. As Congressional UAP Hearings continue; as more and more whistleblowers come forward; and as more and more high quality documentaries are being released to the public, we anxiously await the day when a Head of State officially declares to the world on live TV that ‘We Are Not Alone!’”

As the Founder of the Paradigm Research Group in Washington, D.C., he has diligently been working towards the advancement of Disclosure for 30 years. The award is named in honor of the late Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Professor of Astronomy at the University of Chicago; renowned Science Officer for the U.S. Air Force on their Project Blue Book UFO Study; originator of the “Close Encounters of the First, Second and Third Kind” categories for UFO and extraterrestrial contact; the UFO Advisor to Steven Spielberg on the film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”; and the Founder of the Center for UFO Studios (CUFOS) in Chicago.
