Stephen Bassett Receives CITD 2025’s Lifetime Achievement Award
Washington, DC, June 2025 – Veteran Disclosure Advocate Stephen Bassett was the recipient of the 2025 Contact in the Desert “Lifetime Achievement Award” for Excellence in UFOlogy. The award was presented to Bassett on May 31, 2025, during a dinner banquet event at CITD in Indian Wells, CA. The event, which was hosted by Captain Ron Janix, Producer/Co-Owner of CITD, also included a keynote address from renowned NewsNation TV Broadcaster Ross Coulthart.
Bassett is the founder of the Washington, D.C.-based Paradigm Research Group. PRG was recently converted into a 501c3 nonprofit organization and is currently planning to present an X-Conference in early 2026. In addition, Bassett is also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance.

ABOUT THE PARADIGM RESEARCH GROUP/STEPHEN BASSETT:
In 1996, Stephen Bassett became the very first person to ever register as a lobbyist in Washington, DC, as an Activist for Disclosure. He is the Founder of the Paradigm Research Group, a non-profit organization that advocates in all ways possible, for an end to the U.S. government-imposed truth embargo of the facts surrounding the extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race –CAPTIAL D, Disclosure.
PRG was originally not set up as a nonprofit in order to maximize its range of political advocacy options and diminish its vulnerability. However, in 2024, Bassett reconfigured PRG as a 501c3 nonprofit, in anticipation of the political resolution of the truth embargo.
Through his nearly 30-years of work with PRG, Bassett has:
Created a website dedicated to ending the UAP/ET truth embargo.
Established a political action committee – XPPAC, designed to engage the Washington, DC political media.
Produced a number of events in the Washington, DC, metro area, such as the X-Conferences and the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure.
Built international awareness and networks such as the Exopolitics World Network.
Been interviewed by hundreds of media outlets, and spoken at UAP conferences around the world, on the topics of the history of the ET truth embargo and the implications of the upcoming Disclosure
In 2023, Bassett co-founded the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, the world’s only non-profit organization uniting UAP/UFO experiencers, researchers and Disclosure advocates with Hollywood writers, producers, directors and performers. Bassett serves as Executive Director of the HDA, whose mission is to help nurture and develop the next era of motion pictures, TV shows and documentaries based on the read life extraordinary experiences of real-life people.
