News From The New Paradigm Institute: Encouraging President Trump
Washington, D.C., March 2, 2026 -- President Trump has just vowed to release all UFO/UAP related information held by the federal government. With one click, you can send a letter thanking the him for his commitment, and urging him to issue a binding Executive Order that ensures real, comprehensive disclosure.
Here’s the backstory: last week, we reported on President Obama’s statement that aliens are real and that this comment sent shockwaves through the media.
A few days later, while aboard Air Force One, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked President Trump about Obama’s “aliens are real” remarks. President Trump responded: “He gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that.”
When pressed on whether aliens are real, Trump replied: “Well, I don’t know if they’re real or not. I can tell you he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake. He took it out of classified information.”
Doocy then noted that a president can declassify anything he wants to. Trump responded: “Maybe I’ll get him out of trouble. I may get him out of trouble by declassifying.”
That statement ignited even more public interest. Then, hours later, President Trump posted the following on Truth Social:
“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)...”

The letter to the White House we’re asking you to sign calls for:
Immediate, government-wide searches for UAP-related records
Transfer of all materials to the National Archives’ UAP Records Collection
Clear definitions and uniform standards across agencies
Binding timelines and Congressional oversight
Regular public reporting and accountability for noncompliance
Congress has already created the legal framework. What’s needed now is decisive executive leadership to make sure agencies fully comply.
This is a respectful, constructive message — one that supports transparency, restores public trust, and strengthens the rule of law.
PRESIDENT TRUMP’S UFOs/UAP VOW: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
As I reported last week, President Trump has publicly declared on social media his intent to direct the heads of Executive Branch Agencies “to begin the process of identifying and disclosing" UFO/UAP files of these United States Executive Branch Agencies.
In response, we’ve created a call to action so you can encourage the President to follow through on this public commitment by issuing a binding Executive Order. This is a pivotal moment (thanks to all of you who have taken our call to action already!). It’s important that President Trump and his administration clearly understand how significant the UFO/UAP issue is to the American people.
DNI Director Tulsi Gabbard has expressed support for UFO/UAP declassification
Encouragingly, the President’s comments have already generated reactions within both the Cabinet and Congress.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, currently led by Tulsi Gabbard, has issued a statement expressing support for the declassification of UFO/UAP records.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was asked by former Fox News White House Correspondent Kristin Fisher whether he is prepared to implement the President’s directive. His response was direct. “Of course. We have people working on it right now.”
Representative Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, who leads the Taskforce on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, has also indicated that updates to the National Archives are forthcoming. However, as of this writing, the National Archives page for Records Related to Unidentified Flying Objects and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena has not been updated since April 2025.
Momentum is building, but public engagement remains essential. I encourage you to participate in our call to action if you haven’t already and to share it widely with friends, family, and colleagues. Continued, visible public pressure will help ensure that this promise results in meaningful transparency.
