Nashville Director Will Holland Releases Starseed Documentary
Nashville, TN, March 2, 2026 — Commercial film director Will Morgan Holland announces the release of his new short documentary, Starseed, now available to stream on Vimeo.
Starseed is available to watch now at:
Shot deep in the mountains of East Tennessee, the 5½-minute film follows Nadalee — a UFO abductee who summons mysterious orbs in the sky, broadcasting the encounters live to thousands on TikTok.
At its core, Starseed is less about extraterrestrials and more about belief, identity, and connection. The film explores how one young woman interprets her experiences and how she channels them into a message of love, healing, and cosmic belonging.
“Starseed is a human story set in a cosmic world,” says Holland. “It follows a woman who's experienced contact — and now feels called to share that experience with the world.”
The short documentary offers an intimate look into a growing online and in-person subculture centered around UFO contact, manifestation, and what’s known as CE5 — human-initiated encounters with unexplained aerial phenomena. Rather than taking a position on the phenomenon itself, Starseed invites viewers into Nadalee’s personal reality, capturing both the mystery of the night sky and the vulnerability of someone living at the intersection of belief and digital community.
The film was shot by cinematographer Mika Matinazad and features original music by Among Savages, grounding the ethereal subject matter in a textured, emotional atmosphere.
With Starseed, Holland continues to explore documentary storytelling that lives on the edge of fringe culture and human truth. The release marks the beginning of a larger body of work examining modern UFO experiencers and the communities forming around them.
