Disclosure Advocates Call On Congress To Pass The UAP Disclosure Act And Global Citizens To Sign The UAPDA Petition

Washington, D.C., June 2025 -- A coalition of Disclosure Advocates and Organizations is calling on Congress to pass the UAP Disclosure Act of 2025—a bipartisan, historically grounded effort to ensure public access to records concerning Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), restore oversight by elected officials, and advance open scientific inquiry.

Concurrently, the coalition is also encouraging everyone around the world to endorse this petition as soon as possible. The official petition can be found here: https://uapda.org/petition

Modeled after the JFK Records Act, the UAP Disclosure Act mandates that UAP-related records be declassified, disclosed, and reviewed by an independent panel with full statutory authority. For too long, secrecy has prevailed—despite testimony from military personnel, government officials, and released videos confirming objects that defy known explanation.

Say Disclosure Officials, “This issue transcends party lines. It concerns transparency, national security, scientific progress, and the public’s right to know.”

October 20, 2024, was the initial date specified by Congress for all UAP records to be made available to the National Archives as a result of the original Disclosure Act from which significant provisions were unfortunately dropped.

Now known around the world annually as Global Disclosure Day, October 20, 2025, will be the day that the above coalition will deliver this petition to Congress, requesting them to pass the entire original act, including unenacted provisions.
