Book Review: The Dual Soul Connection: The Alien Agenda for Human Advancement

By Nick Blake

When Dan Harary, Editor of The WOW! Signal, appointed me to be the site’s first book reviewer, I pondered which book would be best for my first review. Over the years, I’ve read many, many books on the subject of UFOs, the paranormal and related high strangeness. Thanks to my voracious appetite for books and years of research, it became clear to me long before I started seeing UFOs for myself that the myriad high strangeness phenomenon were all connected and that our intellectual models of reality are flawed. Which book would be good for the first review?

On a recent phone call with my friends Robert and Marilyn Salas, I stood in front of my bookcase of UFO-related material and asked them what they thought. My eyes grazed over a few titles: Sirius Mystery, Forgotten Civilization, Captured!, Extraterrestrial Contact: The Evidence and Implications … then I settled on a book with a blue spine and yellow lettering.

“How about Suzy Hansen’s book, The Dual Soul Connection: The Alien Agenda for Human Advancement,” Robert asked.

“Great suggestion. In fact, I’m looking at that book right now,” I answered, pulling it from the shelf.

“She’s for real,” Robert said. “We met Suzy years ago, she came to stay with us. Unlike many contactees, she has incredible recall of most of her experiences without needing hypnosis.”

I learned about Suzy a few years ago from a Coast to Coast AM interview. Titles that include the word “connection” tend to turn me off, but something about her interview resonated with me so I ordered a copy and read it cover to cover before adding it to my library. Her book is as sincere as her interview was: a biography of a human struggling with her extraterrestrial encounters trying to make sense of what she’s learned from her experiences since childhood.

The book is divided into three sections: a brief discussion of her early encounters; a longer section detailing various contacts and experiences with different beings (including piloting a craft through a planet); and then a short conclusion section detailing upcoming planet changes.

Her message is positive: the aliens she’s been in contact with are on a mission to uplift and help humanity. According to Suzy, many humans on Earth today are dual-souled-beings, one human and one alien, with life missions to help guide the planet in a positive direction and stop the monopolization of off-world technologies by groups who are driven by greed and power. This resonates strongly with what I’ve learned and heard elsewhere. In my private email list with family and friends I like to write that the alien’s goal seems to be to elevate humanity so we can embrace the Star Trek-style future that Gene Roddenberry promised us.

Suzy’s book stitches together her conscious memories with some hypnotherapy sessions. She is very sensitive to the controversy around hypnotherapy and prefers to rely on her conscious memories, and as Robert pointed out her conscious recall is incredible. Over the years she learned to accept hypnotherapy as a legitimate practice and has since embraced it as a valuable tool that has helped her fill in gaps with important details.

My favorite part of the book is her meeting with a Mantisoid. The mantis-types have long been my favorite to learn about. Suzy meets one on a mothership. Her gray friend RJ and another human take her to see a doctor, who turns out to be a mantis-type. He greets her, leads her into the operation room, then shape-shifts into a human/gray-looking being for the operation. He tells Suzy that he’s also shape-shifting to show her his own dual soul.

Suzy’s dual-soul experience includes being able to adopt a gray form (onboard a mothership and in an underground base) while around other grays. In her gray form her mind is sharper and clearer, and she is able to clinically process a vast amount of data in a short time. Humans are more emotional, and it hampers our intellectual processing sometimes. She mentions that, in general, the grays are respectful of the human psyche and our way of doing things, even though they are so different from their own way. They prefer a hands-off approach to humans.

Her contact experiences take her to mother ships in orbit, deep underground bases and an underwater base. The aliens are concerned about nuclear bombs and the damage we have unwittingly done to unseen energetic forces, creatures and entities who share this planet with us but are currently invisible to us. They’re also concerned there will be much speculation and confusion as Earth humans realize that extraterrestrial races are here already. Too many people lead narrow lives and do not have the capacity, at this time, to handle extraterrestrial contact. The aliens are compensating for this with their own controlled Disclosure, including increased sightings of craft and occupants. The process of elevating humanity is long and grueling.

What I value about Suzy’s account is her deep humanity and compassion, along with all her interesting encounter experiences. For me, reading her book was a confirmation of my own research and conclusions.
