Author Mike Fiorito Releases New Book UFO Symphonic - Journeys Into Sound
New York City, NY, March 2025 – Author Mike Fiorito has just published his newest book, UFO Symphonic -- Journeys Into Sound . The foreword was written by Joshua Cutchin, and the prelude to the book was written by Kev Cann (who co-wrote a chapter in Jeff Kripal's new book How To Think Impossibly.)
In UFO Symphonic—Journeys into Sound, Fiorito explores the language of music and its relationship to the mystery of existence. UFO Symphonic suggests that music is a form of highly complex communication, a contact modality. But it raises the question: Contact with Whom? Or What? There are no final answers, the author submits.
Fiorito presents these ideas: Is music one way in which the past, present and future are attempting to communicate with and through us? More than a vehicle for time travel, music can transport us to another realm.
UFO Symphonic investigates how the symbolic language of music and sound interfaces with the collective unconscious. And with the symbolism of dreams, leads us, at times, into the realm of high strangeness.
Through a series of Fiorito’s personal accounts and experiencer stories, UFO Symphonic takes the reader on a journey into the impossible.

An Adjunct Professor of English at City Tech (CUNY), Mike Fiorito is a freelance journalist and author of several books: For All We Know, Mescalito Riding His White Horse, Falling from Trees, The Hated Ones, Sleeping with Fishes, Call Me Guido, Freud’s Haberdashery Habits, and Hallucinating Huxley.
