CITD: The Woodstock of UFOlogy

I was honored to have once again served, for the second year in a row, as the Director of Media Relations for the just concluded Contact in the Desert 2025 conference. Between that role and while also wearing my other “hat” – that as the Chairman of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance - I was in the fortunate position at CITD to meet and interact with the top “stars” of UFOlogy, who were all assembled there at the same time and under one roof.
Among my personal highlights at this year’s CITD were:
Meeting Ross Coulthart, who has become the “Walter Cronkite” of UAP TV Journalism
Meeting Donie O’Sullivan, a CNN TV News Reporter who covered his very first UFO Event
Meeting Chris Bledsoe, the New York Times best-selling author of the book UFO OF GOD
Introducing my friend Richard Dolan before he began one of his Numerous Lectures
Having a long and fascinating Dinner with my dear friend Lisa Puzo Strickland and Ancient Aliens TV Star William Henry, whom I’d never met previously
Spending a good deal of Quality Time with Lisa and Stephen Bassett, another close friend and my partner in the formation of The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance
And last, but not least, enjoying a super fun and relaxing Dinner at the Renaissance Resort with Members of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance: Debbi Dachinger, Lisa Strickland, Jeremy Norrie, Kristine Augustyn, and Rob Rowe on the very first night we were all gathered there.
I consider myself a “20-Year Student of UFOlogy.” I’ve been reading books, going to conferences and events, watching TV series and documentaries, attending CE5 Events, and having my own UAP experiences now for more than 20 years.
As a kid and as a teen, I was obsessed with rock music. I played the drums in bands and saw almost all of my rock star “heroes” perform in real life.
For me, personally, at CITD 2025, I felt like I was a teen again, backstage at Woodstock in 1969. My favorite UAP “Rock Stars” were all there, all easy to approach, and all working towards the same goal:
DISCLOSURE OF THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL/NHI PRESENCE ON EARTH DURING OUR LIFETIMES!
For those of you who might be reading this column right now and have not yet attended a Contact in the Desert event, I strongly recommend that you mark your calendars NOW for the last weekend in May 2026! CITD is an annual event you simply can’t afford to miss.
